For mother’s day, my hubby got me an apple pencil. This was my first go at sketching something with it. I have not yet got the hang of the watercolor brush. I see some really amazing artists out there use it, but I have a lot to learn.
If you own your own small business there are a lot of things to think about. I’m sure you have put at least a little thought into your personal brand. Maybe even wondered what your brand is, do I even HAVE a brand?! What does a brand look like for my kind of business? Do I really REALLY need to think about that? I mean it will all kind of take care of itself right? Maybe? PLEASE?!
I’ve been there. Pulling my hair out, straight up stalking Pinterest for the answers (you can see my inspire brand board if you’re curious). Actually, Pinterest was an invaluable tool, nay, IS an invaluable took for me when I’m trying to sort things out. Sometimes I start pinning things and the more I pin the more I can see what it is I actually like! I start to see a pattern, similar colors I’m drawn to, maybe a certain style. I do this for all aspects of my life, but today we are here because of your brand and how I can help.
It’s called personal branding because YOU are the most important aspect of your brand. Your pretty face. Don’t laugh, I’m serious. People want to see who they are working with or buying from. And we aren’t talking about slapping a cute selfie up on your business Facebook page. It’s time for a grown up professional picture. Not sure you’re grown up? Well, Lisa of South & Main in Dalton is pretty sure she’s not (you can see all the goofy faces of Lisa being Lisa below) but that’s the personal part. A personal branding session is about you and your brand and I would love to help you figure it out!
Senior Portrait season is almost here again and all of my 2015 senior clients are preparing to graduate! By next week the sun should be shining, the birds will start to return home, and the class of 2017 will need to start booking their senior portrait sessions! Congratulations on your senior year Ellie!
